The individual that took my order stated that I would receive my products in 7 to 10 days. I did not. Each time I contact Signals they keep telling me it is in transit with a later delivery date. I do not deal with people that can not be honest.
I don't care how long the delivery takes, just be honest about it. Refused to cancel my order and save me the shipping after they change the size when I checked out. I dont recommend them. Called my order in so I could ask questions. What a waste of time. First they have the worst phone system ever. I spoke to 4 representatives and it was the same on all of them I spoke to many other catalogs the same day with no problem, there is no issue with my phone. It sounded like the reps were at home with kids running around in the background so their focus was not on my call.
I had to repeat myself over and over. There was also a language barrier. Their English was minimal so that also made it difficult. They overcharge you to begin with, many of the items I was ordering I found on Amazon for much cheaper without those astronomical shipping charges.
If you're looking for stress then this is the company for you. But if you get your fill of stress from work and home then stay away! Horrible service. I ordered 2 items that were to be personalized and told it would take 2 weeks for delivery. I received the first item and then called to check on the second and was told that it was out of stock and no longer available.
Not only was I not notified but then they had the audacity to tell me that if I wanted a refund on the first item that I had to contact the vendor directly. I am sorry but I ordered this item through signals, they were very quick to take my money and when there was an issue wanted me to handle with their vendor myself!
Will never order from them again. I never received ANY communication via e-mail or phone. Not good! I gave them a try and will Never again! In early April I mailed in an order for a book, and enclosed a check. Four days later the check was cashed by Signals at Huntington Bank. A month later and still no book I began calling. Said they never received my order. They had to get it if they got and cashed check. Customer Service was horrible, horrible. Always a different person who didn't know about the issue.
All said they can't send the book until they find the order, can't refund my money until they found order. My bank contacted their bank, which was no help.
This is insanity. They keep my money and I don't get the book until they find the order which is obviously lost or destroyed. Products used: I ordered one item: a book for a child. Never got it. They claimed I never ordered it, yet they cashed the enclosed check within four days.
Have proof in cancelled check with their Signals deposit info. Customer service is absolutely horrible. They have my money but I get no book until they find order? My bank contacted their bank and got no where regarding a refund. I ordered several items online on Dec 11, and by Dec15th, still no notice it shipped from Signals. I was on hold 35 minutes, and finally called back again. Customer service, "Was sorry it hadn't been shipped out YET, and "they would ship it overnight".
On January 3rd I got a FedEx email to let me know, "They had just received the items January 2nd, and it would arrive Jan 3," Not once did Signals respond about anything shipping out, and they charged an outrageous cost for shipping 2 small items. I will never use them again. Another item to another person didn't get there until January 7th, ordered Dec 9.
It still took over a month to be shipped at all from Signals. Repeated emails were ignored. Tip for consumers: Since these were gifts, I had no way to know if they arrived because Signals sent no verification of receipt of the initial orders, nor was I given a shipping dates.
It was too late to ask them to "Forget the whole order" so I could order elsewhere, I wasn't given that option. They also do not tell you when it will arrive. I have since canceled their catalog and emailed them that, "I will never order from them again". They didn't respond to any emails about the two orders at any time. Products used: I ordered a Christmas book and Bear, for a child, the bear went with the book.
I also ordered a cup and a Windchime for a second friend. I never received anything from Signals beyond the Order number at the time of check out. Never got a "Shipping notice, and so I called 2 times,the last on Dec 15th, and was told, "They hasn't left Signals yet".. Signals Customer Service on Dec 15 , told me after 35 minutes on hold "They were sorry and behind and would have it shipped out overnight at no cost to me"..
Still nothing. One gift was for a child too! I purchased a set of cotton PJs. They were described as luxurious. The fabric was extremely thin,,, see through when held up to the light.
The PJS were not cheap They were made in India and reeked of some sort of chemical used in manufacturing or maybe in killing insects? I returned them yesterday. I will see how they handle my refund. A few weeks later I was notified one was back ordered. It would not be in before Christmas. I was charged for 2 at the reduced price. After Christmas the third one I wanted came in.
