That is a ridiculous amount of gold that not everyone has the time or indeed the inclination to farm. It would help encourage people to create and play more characters maintaining both their interest and of course. Having to have separate class and role specific cloth leather mail and plate items if frankly ridiculous. Perhaps making all items and upgrades available in game through quests rather than having to repeatedly drag your way through varying degrees of dungeons and raid in the hope of random drops would be another very possible improvement.

We dont all have the time and inclination to do dungeons or raids And why is some of the better gear only available through PVP many of us enjoy playing but don't want to get involved with that either.
